SMED (Quick Changeover)
Program Overview:
How do you create a NASCAR “pit crew” out of your set-up teams? This workshop will help participants learn the same principles through Setup Reduction and the Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) system used by the experts. Learn how to apply the Changeover Improvement Process in your operations. By the end of the day you’ll experience reduced costs and setup times and see machine capacity increase at the same time.Registration: This event is presented as part of the MACNY Training Corner.
